The festival, which takes place from 3-9pm, features premium food, wine and beer from across the region while the sun sets.
Up to 30 businesses will be selling their wares, including food from Ampika’s Kitchen/Keg and Barrel, Paella Bar and Tiki Taco; and beverages from DogRidge Wines, Shifty Lizard Brewing and Swell Brewing Co (see full list below).
Entry is free, and punters can also enjoy live entertainment—from Mr Buzzy, David Hull and Brian Ruiz—cooking demonstrations by Sprout Cooking School, market stalls and other activities.
A virtual reality activity will also be held for the first time for kids and adults alike (ticketed).
City of Onkaparinga Mayor Erin Thompson encouraged locals and visitors to make a day of it by the beach.
“It’s exciting to see Beachside return to Rotary Park – it’s the perfect opportunity to do some shopping along Beach Road, have a swim or a play on the playground, or grab a bite at Port Noarlunga before you head in,” she said.
“There will be a mouthwatering lineup of food and beverage producers on offer at the festival, so come along and support our local businesses.”
The festival is a cashless COVID Safe event, so attendees must use the QR code and hand sanitiser upon entry, hand sanitiser throughout the event, and keep a distance of 1.5m from people who aren’t in your group.

For those looking for a weekend of fun, the final instalment of the Christies Beach Twilight Markets and Outdoor Cinema is taking place at Rotary Park the night before the festival on Friday 26 March (5-9pm, free entry).
The Onkaparinga Summer event includes a free outdoor cinema.
