Free expo spotlights youth and family services

Published on 11 March 2025

A free expo highlighting the services of more than 30 youth and family organisations – and offering a free barbecue, games, face painting and more – is headed to Aldinga Payinthi College on Tuesday 18 March.

The inaugural Southern Youth and Family Services Expo (3:30pm to 5:30pm) is a collaboration between the City of Onkaparinga, Southern Youth Round Table and the college.

The council’s Team Leader Youth, Jenna Bloom, says the free event aims to create better outcomes for the region’s young people while showcasing the incredible diversity of services available (see the full list below).

“There are so many services available down south for young people, and for those who work with, care for, and support young people – and this expo allows the community to connect with them in the one place,” she says.

“It also provides a platform for the providers to showcase their offerings and build stronger networks in the south.

“If you're a young person, family member, support worker or someone else working with, caring for and supporting young people in the south, we’d love to see you there for a fun arvo!”
