Santa took some time out of his busy schedule to talk with Onkaparinga Now about coming to the Onkaparinga Christmas Pageant on Sunday 19 November.
Santa, we’re so excited you’re coming back to our pageant in Christies Beach this year. What are you most looking forward to?
I’m looking forward to seeing the joy and happiness shining from everyone’s faces. And between you and me, I’m really looking forward to doing a little dancing at Christmas in the Park.
What’s the best thing about Christmas?
Well, that’s getting the blame for everyone eating too many chocolates and lollies.
What special message would you like to give to the boys and girls?
That’s easy: always be kind, share with others, and believe in the magic of your dreams.
Do you have anything you’d like to say to all the adults out there?
Remember to channel your inner child this Christmas! Embrace the silliness and wear your goofy Christmas T-shirt. Dance like nobody’s watching and keep the spirit of wonder and magic alive.
One last word?
Don’t forget your hats, sunblock, water and chalk! I can't wait to see you there!
Join Santa, his elves and around 50 festive floats at the Onkaparinga Christmas Pageant on Sunday 19 November.
There’ll be dancers and bands, clowns and boats and trucks, furry friends (some of them spotted) and many of your favourite local heroes.
After the pageant, continue the fun at Christmas in the Park at Rotary Park on the esplanade. It’s a free event with live music and entertainment, market stalls, and the opportunity to take a picture with Santa.
The pageant will start at 10am from the corner of Hunt Crescent and Beach Road at Christies Beach, before heading down Beach Road to the Esplanade.
See the Onkaparinga website for all the details.
