Explore the McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Coast

Looking for inspiration to explore our magnificent region?

Look no further than the new McLaren Vale & Fleurieu Coast Visitor Guide, which was released last week, just in time for the summer holidays.

Featuring a gorgeous wine, gin and vineyard valley dining scene at McLaren Vale’s Chalk Hill on the cover, the magazine-style publication is filled with stunning photography, captivating local stories and signature experiences.

It features top tips for getting the most out of your day or weekend, and a range of great vouchers and offers to restaurants, cellar doors, and shops (including for complimentary wine tastings and buy-one-get-one-free deals), as well as activities and experiences the whole family can enjoy.

This year’s guide also has a new focus on stories about what locals love, such as their top spots and the hidden gems you might not know about.

Some of the ‘Meet the Locals’ contributors include d’Arenberg’s Chester Osborn, Maxwell Restaurant’s Fabian Lehmann, Willunga Farmers Market’s Pip Forrester AM, and Adelaide Fringe Director/Port Willunga resident Heather Croall.

Another high-profile part-time resident who reveals their go-to spots is comedian and radio and television presenter Merrick Watts, a regular visitor with his family to the region, where he says he feels more at home than he does in his homeland of Melbourne.

The guide is available online at the McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Coast website, as well as from the McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Coast Visitor Centre, Port Noarlunga Visitor Information Outlet, and other great tourism businesses throughout the region.

For those further afield, the guide is available at key visitor hotspots including CBD hotels and attractions, car hire companies, cafes, the Convention Centre, SA visitor centres, selected Foodland stores and outlets along the Great Ocean Road.

Grab a copy to keep on the coffee table when family and friends visit, and make sure to share your experiences using the hashtag #valeandcoast
