Join the renewable revolution

Onkaparinga small businesses are invited to a climate change breakfast on Friday 11 November, where you can learn about climate sustainability and net zero pathways for your business.

The Climate Sustainability for your Business event ($50 per person)—presented by Resilient South—is part of Future Energy Week at the Tonsley Innovation District, and it offers businesses the opportunity to join industry, leaders, local government and the community to network and hear from expert speakers.

Breakfast will be provided on arrival, and following some networking you’ll hear from:

  • Rob Morris – Founder and CEO, iO Energy
  • Merrily Hunter – Managing Director, Trades Services SA
  • Geoff Titus – CEO, Zen Energy
  • Jodie Bricout - Principal Circular Economy, Aurecon Group

The speakers will also be joined by Andrew Kay (Business SA) and Greg Shumann (Engie ANZ) for a panel discussion moderated by Resilient South’s Stefan Caddy-Retalic.

Tickets for the 8–10am event are available now via Eventbrite.

Resilient South is a partnership between the Cities of Holdfast Bay, Marion, Mitcham and Onkaparinga and South Australian government. Its work focuses on what we can do in the Southern Region to make sure businesses, communities, and environments can tackle the challenges of climate change.

Future Energy Week aims to connect businesses, government, academia and startups to develop solutions to the energy and climate challenge.

Founded by the Tonsley Future Energy Consortium in 2021, its series of events aim to showcase the best and brightest in energy and connect organisations with current and emerging innovators who contribute to the much-needed clean energy transition.
