Research your family history

Are you curious about your family history, but don’t know what you are looking for or where to begin?

Aldinga Library is running a training session on learning about your ancestry and getting to know who you are.

The session will show you how to get started in researching your family history online. You will be provided with tips and tricks on how to get the most out of the internet, step-by-step guides on starting to build your own family tree and much more.

Aldinga Library Team Leader Andrew Berney encouraged residents to take up this opportunity to learn where they came from.

“The session will also include an introduction to the Aldinga Library’s local history collection including electronic resources available to our library members,” he said.

The free course will be held on Tuesday 17 March from 10am to 11.30 am and is suitable for adults. Refreshments will be provided and bookings are essential.
