We’ve compiled a list of all the Fringe venues and their events (19 February to 21 March) in the Onkaparinga region, which means you don’t need to head to the CBD to get your fill.
Whether you’re after comedy, cabaret, music, First Nations art or circus performances, you’re sure to find something to tickle your fancy at a local theatre, club, winery, gallery or youth centre.

Arts Centre (Port Noarlunga) – SOLD OUT
Simply Sade is a tribute show to the English singer-songwriter (Saturday 27 February) featuring her best and most loved songs, including ‘Smooth Operator’, ‘The Sweetest Taboo’, ‘Hang On To Your Love’ and more.
Base 10 Youth Centre (Reynella)
The 2021 Battle of the Sounds (Saturday 27 February) gives local up-and-coming bands/music artists (aged 25 and under) an opportunity to win over $14,000 in prizes, including the chance to perform at the upcoming Myponga Music Festival 2021.
DogRidge Cellar Door (McLaren Flat)
The works of resident local artist Jen Wright will be displayed alongside other local artists in Early Vintage, a free exhibition celebrating the early ferments of vintage 2021 and life in the vineyard.
Happy Valley Bowling Club and Morphett Vale Memorial Bowling Club
Enjoy a two-hour cabaret musical comedy floorshow, BabyBoomers R US, full of Irish Blarney, quirky impersonations and great songs. Meet The Queen, Donald Trump, Billy Connolly, Cilla Black, Cher and more.
Hither & Yon (Willunga) – SOLD OUT
Adelaide and Port Lincoln singer-songwriter/visual artist Luke Marshall presents an intimate and deeply personal insight into his journey through heartache, desire, shame and longing for love again (Saturday 27 February), performing It’s A Place I Know with bandmates Rodrigo Barua and Tom Daly.
Red Poles (McLaren Vale)
Artist Micky Barlow, a proud Kokatha woman, presents Living on Country, which captures her love for the place she now calls home. Micky’s works relate to her surroundings, an abundance of bush foods, the Fleurieu coastline, wildlife and flora and fauna.
Reynella East College Theatre
For one night only (Wednesday 17 March), come along and enjoy music, drama and dance from the student arts community at Reynella East College in the REC theatres and courtyard spaces. Fringe@Reynella East College also includes a licensed bar and street-style food.
Sauerbier House (Port Noarlunga)
Two free [GRAFTd] exhibitions are taking place at Sauerbier House during the Fringe.
In South by South, Gilbert Roe, uses the lumen printing process to explore and record the latent and unknown, making use of readily available objects, liquids and unused photographic printing paper. Are these maps or charts of imagined terrestrial landforms and seascapes?
Neville Cichon’s Uprising depicts signs emerging, with the ocean and all within it breaking their silence on the unsustainable human impacts they have endured.
Singing Gazebo Clarendon – SOLD OUT
Experience the sounds of five talented women singing, playing and dancing to favourite and unique Celtic songs with humour and passion. With accordion, guitar, fiddle, bodhran and piano, Celtic Women will unfold in styles both traditional and contemporary.
In Reflecting My Songs My Story, musician Dave Clark will play 20 of his best self-penned songs and poems from his new songbook, Reflecting, alongside the Onkaparinga River.
South Coast Circus (Aldinga Beach) – SOLD OUT
South Coast Circus, a newly opened circus school in Aldinga Beach, presents a student-led variety show. South Coast Circus’ Variety Show aims to demonstrate performances from a wide variety of our classes and age groups.
Southern Districts Workingmen’s Club (McLaren Vale)
Join Glenn Skuthorpe, Russell Smith and Vonda Last for a night of First Nations Voices, with the artists coming together for an infusion of nomadic soul, wide open plains, colourful urban street blues and traditional rock.
Bringing together Viking legend with modern songs, A Night in Valhalla promises to be a night of song and storytelling not to forget.
Party covers band JINX will bring their One Hit Wonders Show to the south for the first time, celebrating some of the world’s most unforgettable one-hit-wonders through song, dance, crowd participation and the original song videos.
Tow of Adelaide’s premier tribute acts will combine for a tribute show, channelling the sound, feel and attitudes of Janis Joplin and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
And award-winning ukulele lady, Granny Flaps, will bring her best bits to the Workingmen’s Club for one night only (suitable for adults only).
The Vines Golf Club of Reynella
Following another successful run at the 2020 Fringe, the Adelaide Fringe Comedy Showcase returns in 2021 for more late-night fun (Saturday 27 February) with three comedians from across the Fringe.
