Welcome to our second Firstival

There are 13 new things you can try this July during Firstival at the City of Onkaparinga's libraries.

How about write your first novel, guided by one of the state’s leading authors, Victoria Purman?

If you prefer, you can make your first indoor plant haven or create your first veggie patch.

Or why not give your brain a workout with a Christmas in July Escape Room, your first artificial (AI) talk or your first quiz night?

There’s also the chance try yoga or enjoy a teddy bear sleepover.

That’s if you’re not busy chalking up other firsts: making natural soap, shooting and editing mobile phone photos, making macramé knots or fermenting kombucha and kefir.

If you’re aged from 5 to 10 years, you can also take part in your first Discovery Hub and keep coming every month to try something new.

Onkaparinga’s Firstival experiences start from Wednesday 3 July and will be held throughout the month at various Onkaparinga libraries.

Book your new experiences on eventbrite. They are all free or low cost. Firstival is a brilliant month of amazing events brought to you by libraries across Australia each July.
