Help shape the future of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples

Neporendi Aboriginal Forum Incorporated wants your feedback on to help shape its programs and services for the future.

The Neporendi Aboriginal Community Centre, located on Vine Street in Old Reynella, is guided by Neporendi Aboriginal Forum Incorporated, and the centre provides programs and services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) communities, focusing on cultural strength and community pride.

Every five years, Neporendi Aboriginal Forum Incorporated undertakes community engagement aimed at identifying the current priorities of ATSI communities.

The identified priorities will be used to develop the programs and services offered by and supported by Neporendi Aboriginal Forum Incorporated.

This year, they’re seeking feedback around offering programs from different locations in Noarlunga Centre and Christie Downs. This aims to improve accessibility for current members, encourage new memberships, and increase overall attendance.

If you’d like to provide feedback, you can take a short survey at City of Onkaparinga’s Your Say page until 31 January 2022.

Or, if you’d prefer a yarn, Neporendi will host a Family Fun Day on Wednesday 26 January (details below), with more drop-in sessions to follow. Keep an eye on the Your Say page for updates on upcoming drop-in sessions.
