Fire up with Encore’s program of great winter entertainment

No need for winter blues! Onkaparinga’s Encore program promises fabulous, fired-up entertainment this winter right across the McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Coast region.

Warm up with fire pits, live music, art classes, epicurean adventures, fine wine, sustainable shopping, markets and – yes – Christmas in July.

And keep an eye out for what’s happening during August when the world-class Fleurieu Food Festival gets under way. (The program will be launched soon!)

Whether you're a local, new in town or just visiting, Encore will turn winter blues into seasonal delights.


Southern Fringes
6 July – Luminous Laneway; 20 July – the Tipi
Kick Back Brewing, 11 Old Coach Road

Immerse yourself in the arts this winter with Southern Fringes at Luminous Laneway to experience markets and live entertainment. Or head under the Tipi for cabaret acts, stand-up comedy and other performances.


Winter Solstice

Brighten up the growing winter darkness when local businesses on Beach Road, Christies Beach light up their shopfronts and interiors and create special events this winter.

Paint and High Tea at Maison de Moon

Fleurieu Food Festival

Ignite your taste buds at the Fleurieu Food Festival, a month-long celebration of gastronomic delights set against the stunning backdrop of the Fleurieu Peninsula. Unfolding at multiple venues, this epicurean adventure promises to captivate foodies.

Experience Christmas in July in the heated courtyard of the charming Old Barn building. Enjoy movies and popcorn, DIY crafts, floristry, wreath and dough making, and private igloos. Each day offers a different experience for you and the family.


Varney Wines and Giro di Pasta
