Winter Villages are here

Encore’s Winter Villages program has just landed, featuring art, high tea, wine, the flavours of the Fleurieu, live music, fire performances and markets.

So, don’t just rug up, scrub up and enjoy great entertainment during the colder months.

You can even enjoy creating your own art with a glass of premium sparkling in hand at the Maison de Moon Art Class Experience.

Maison de Moon is a French Provincial-style farmhouse in Clarendon set on 13 acres of established European trees, a large rose garden, a gorgeous wisteria arbour, and a picturesque small lake.

The experience includes a decadent high tea in the beautiful warmth of the farmhouse while taking an art class with local Clarendon artist Di Lamont. Di has taught acrylic painting in SA, NSW and California and was selected by Chroma Australia as one of nine Teacher Support Artists in Australia.

You might prefer to wine, dine and be entertained at the Winter Fire Festival at Tintara in McLaren Vale. Keep warm around the fire pits or simply snuggle up in the Bedouin-style marquee. Take in the music, enjoy the art, browse the stalls, and choose your favourite foods from a range of great offerings.

For something different visit the Moon Garden Project at the historic state heritage cemetery and cultural community garden in McLaren Vale. It includes botanical installation art framing a cultural community garden enhanced by bespoke winter lighting,

Alternatively—or, better, additionally—you can ignite your taste buds in August at the Fleurieu Food Festival, a month-long celebration of gastronomic delights set against the stunning backdrop of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Unfolding across farms, cafes, restaurants, markets, wineries, breweries, distilleries and community spaces, this epicurean adventure promises to captivate foodies and visitors to the region.
