Head to your library these school holidays

We’re one week into the school holidays and there are still plenty of free activities on offer at City of Onkaparinga’s libraries.

Council has six libraries, which offer the community a wide range of services and activities, apart from just borrowing a good read.

Located at Willunga, Aldinga, Seaford, Noarlunga, Woodcroft and Aberfoyle Park, council libraries have regular programs to cater for all age groups and interests.

Free school holiday activities are a huge attraction for busy parents and council libraries are just the place to provide fun and funky experiences to get the younger generation thinking and creating.

Kids can attend the children’s movie afternooncreate a piece of artwork to be exhibited or get involved with some medieval madness and design and build their own Lego castle, as well as make a paper catapult and castle. There are also regular story-time sessions featuring new favourites and classic stories followed by a connected activity.

Seaford, Aberfoyle Park and Woodcroft libraries offer a toy library service with a wide range of fun and educational toys, games and puzzles for children to enjoy.

For the young sporty types, there is plenty of sports and recreational equipment available for loan from Aldinga, Seaford, Woodcroft and Aberfoyle Park libraries.
