Get ready for Christie Downs’ annual youth party

Wardli Block Party – Christie Downs’ free, all-ages annual community event – returns to Christie Downs on Friday 17 April.

Held during SA Youth Week (9–17 April), the annual event features live music, food, gaming, live art, henna, chill-out zones, basketball, an op shop, a rock-climbing wall, markets and more at Wardli Youth Centre from 4–6:30pm.

The event is designed by young people and it shines a spotlight on the creativity, ideas and contributions of local youth for the entire community to appreciate.

Wardli Block Party is supported by the Department of Human Services through an SA Youth Week Grant, and it’s part of the City of Onkaparinga Youth team’s Regen Series – an annual program of events across the year.

The series includes the annual Youth Recognition Awards, which are being presented on the eve of SA Youth Week on Wednesday 8 April.
